Communism is alive!

Communism fathers: Marx and Engels

Communism fathers: Marx and Engels

While discussing the current politics with my friends, I suddenly discovered a hope sitting deep inside my worldview. The current business model built around the bottom line only scares me, especially when it is used for driving political decisions. I am afraid that its mechanical application can push the country and the world at large to the edge of the abyss.

Thinking about it, I realized that my hope is based on the activity of the new generation of modern businessmen, like Musk, Gates, Bezos, Zuckerberg and their kin.

The new technologies they develop can solve fundamental human problems of food, shelter, and security for everybody. Physical survival will cease to be the focus of human activity. And if Zuckerberg will eliminate all the diseases, we are going to be liberated from the domination of the material values.

Sure, nationalism nowadays is on a rise, but I hope it is just a temporal correction, and the new technologies will allow to continue building the world without borders.

In this new world, the human focus will be not on “to have” (because everybody will have what he needs), but on “to create for everybody.” And that is a definition of the Communism, my friends.
